BEHIND THE STAGE
Dreaming about being a doctor like my father, I eventually studied Electronic Engineering and have worked in the software industry for most of my life, so you can guess how planning about my life has worked out. I used to love coding and creating things hands-on, yet, I never had a full proof plan of creating my own webpage. Being fully compliant with my dream vs. planning strategy as said before, one morning, I thought it is about time that I move away from traditional social media and build my own lifestyle page, which will bring back the passion of development and creating something on my own, which has seen a slow pace for considerably long time. And, thus..my 2nd child, Miles & Makes was born.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Work, family, curiosity and everything in between.
I was born and brought up in Kolkata, India, a city that probably helped shape my fondness for food, culture, conversation and wandering around places simply to see what is there.
Professionally, I have spent quite a few years in the software industry. Technology is a major part of what I do, but it is only one part of what keeps me curious.
I am very much a family person. My wife and kid are at the center of many of my best memories, journeys and everyday adventures.
At the same time, family life has never meant retiring from fun. I still enjoy spending time, laughing, exploring and creating memories with people whose company I genuinely enjoy.

I enjoy driving, especially when the road itself becomes part of the experience.

A different kind of exploration, competition and occasional escape.
Table tennis
Fast rallies, quick reflexes and enough competition to keep things interesting.
Travel & explore
New destinations, different cultures, unfamiliar streets and whatever lies around the next corner.
Food & drinks
Trying local dishes and discovering new flavors is part of traveling well.
Cooking
Not an everyday ritual, but when the mood arrives, experimenting in the kitchen can be surprisingly satisfying.
Daydreaming
Sometimes the mind wanders first. The plans, projects and trips can catch up later.
